Its a regulary missile boat, Quite usefull for napping Thargoids in witchspace... Say you encounter the regulary 3 Thargoid Warships.. i...

My ship is hard enough that if a missile hits it only takes about half a shield away. So if it's a hardened missile i generally just let it hit. Surely an anaconda would have even bigger shields? Negative... Anaconda http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Anaconda_%28Oolite%29 Shield boosters available N...

Re: Too much money

I've just reached 500,000 Credits (and a ship worth nearly 400,000). This means I can buy Q mines for fun and zip about the place using extra fuel tanks instead of bothering to buy it at the much cheaper price at the station. So should there be something frivolous to spend all this excess cash on? ...

This morning I was looking at the prices of Hard Discs. Prices are nowadays very low.

A 20GB ATA drive plus a USB adapter is going to cost less than €75.

Peace of mind :D
not to nitpick... but did you mean 200GB ?

20 GB is sort of low these days...

WEll, Vista has changes that makes it preferble to XP, for example... The GFX card cant lock the system up, since the driver is now outside the kernel... this is part of the reason why GFX drivers for vista has been so long to come out for "old" GFX cards. now when the GFX card stalls... i...

How do you calculate these coordinates actually? I have been surfing through wiki, wikipedia and openGL tutorials, but I'm not finding much sense out of it all. DLing rendermonkey, maybe that will do it for me. :) I guess decals would only be practical for vehicles that all use the same text...

Nope, the original E-bomb definitely wiped out every ship within range (i.e. every ship in the game in the original version, which didn't keep track of anything not in range), apart from the space station and possibly the Constrictor (I'd have to check on that one, but I think I energy bombed it th...

I flew in an ultralight, as a passenger

My friends surprised me yesterday, in the traditional way before my/our wedding. First i was forced to sell fruits downtown, dressed up real silly.. with signs upon which was the text "HELP!!!, i´m Getting Married".. Then i was dressed in a "trumble"-like suit, also known as bunn...
