[...] Well, from what I can tell, a common denominator would be the normals being reverted (i.e. pointing inwards for the station, and outwards for the dock), I just confirmed this for the Nuit station. ...stuff... i think it's possible you could get an NPC to dock at the Nuit struts, for eye candy; patrolAIs etc seem to direct a ship to a point and i see there's a "gotowaypointAI" - possibly we could specify a point at the end of the dock arm and have a ship fly there? aligning it logically is, i'd ...

having been blatted by exiting ships on occasion i can confirm very bad timing can sometimes end if your destruction - i've been metres from approach when a Viper materialised and i blew up a microsecond later. i think we need more details about this Hathor incident.

not sure how that happens, the model should have the dock box where it should be. if you CAN dock there it surely means you're in far enough for the process to register and therefore sometimes [?] hitting something before it doesn't make sense?

Yeah, as mentioned in my initial post i found the autodock was about to go catastrophically wrong and had to quickly abort - i don't know how it works, i think the lore was that you had to fly to the buoy to make the approach, is it looking for something like that? it should be no real prob to manua...

i was wondering about trying to get the station to only sell II ships, but as per other posts i found too much of my limited spare time getting eaten up by fighting w/ the scripts and stuff. it was also supposed to have a little more eye candy in that i wanted random ships on the landing pads/servi...
