Re: Computer performance - lag lag lag

I would suggest going to your game options screen and making some performance adjustments. Turn on reduced detail, turn detailed planets off, and turn shaders completely off. Be careful with OXPs that add a lot of objects to the game. I would also stay away from Griff's ships, they are just too deta...

Re: Interplanetary "Finances"

It makes me smile (ruefully) how many players bypass the mechanisms that make the game what it is - how much money, equipment you start with. Dealing with the consequences of becoming Offender (even accidentally). Knowing you can hack your file and resisting the urge to do so... I don't know, to ea...

Re: Interplanetary "Finances"

I'm not quite sure how to answer the poll, but here's a little bit about how I run my game. Re: Feature requests for Oolite 2.0

I have some simple requests which should be easy to implement. There is mention of aquatic species in various *lite fictions I've read. I've never encountered such creatures though. (But maybe you find them in galaxies other than 1?) So, I think we should add a race of intellectually-advanced octopu...

Re: Remapping of keys for a newbie

Hi Jonah. From your description it sounds like you installed Oolite from the Ubuntu software repositories. The last time I checked they were offering a very outdated version of Oolite. I would suggest that you check what version you are running and uninstall it if need be. You can download the most ...

Re: Joystick configurations

You might want to give us some more details on your setup, as the solution is dependent on what operating system you are using.

I have the same joystick, and it works well with Oolite under Slackware Linux.
